Transmission problem
1998 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 169345 miles

When my s10 gets hot the transmission wants to kick out of 4th gear/overdrive. Runs fine when cold. Is there a hot fuse somewhere that could be malfunctioning or some other problem?

i had a problem kinda like this....but i couldnt get the thing to shift out of 2nd....so i changed the solinoids, did nothing....ended up taking it to the dealer $700. later found out the ecu was bad. the 700 also included the rental.
