Heater problem

the passenger side vents seem to only blow outside air (no heat or no cold). it is automatic temp dual control. set on auto or manual neither the center or passenger door temp control will change the temp of the air on the passenger side. also the display on the center control fades on and off. when it is off somtimes you can tap the display screen and it will come on. driver side works fine. thanks
