My question is whether power windows can be converted to manual windows. Please give a little detail. Do the repair shop do it??

For the E-39 body style in the U.S. market, BMW did not offer manual crank windows. In my data base there is a picture for crank window regulators, but no number. It seems that unless you know someone in Europe, you can't get them or the door panels. This is not unusual for BMW as it is next to impossible to get some parts on this side of the pond.
