Interior problem
1998 BMW 318 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120,00 miles
The power widow regulator keeps ripping itself off the lower window track. It seems like when the window reaches the bottom, the regulator motor power does not cut off & the motor just stays on & bends the regulator arms until they pop off the rail. Is the regulator motor bad or is it the window switch? |

I did not replace the white sliders, they move freely & look OK. Also the lock pin fits tightly on the sliders |

I suggest replacement (of the sliders) and be very sure the ball ends are secure in the sliders, I usually get behind them with a pair of vice-grips and pop them in, it takes a fair amount of pressure to seat them. |
