Hello, I have a 1998 2.3 CL and i have no idea what wrong with my car, Only when its cold outside (in the mournings-below 50 degrees) my transmission seems to not work. When i put it in Reverse i jerks into reverse but moves fine in reverse. But when i Put it in D4 i barely moves. In D3 it pulles the exact same. IN second gear it moves a little better but still barely moving? Soon as the temperature starts to change the transmission will work fine without missing a beat, or if i let the car warm up for about 10 mins, cut it off and start it back up it shifts perfectly fine. Have you ever heard of this and can i fix it. OH yeah the Check engine light is on and that's because of 3 things, the computer, crank sensor and cat converter, is what i was told when i had it checked by a mecanic. Would the computer being bad have anything to do with this?? Thank you in advance, strangest thing i ever heard.
