1997 Toyota Tercel Cruise control

Electrical problem
1997 Toyota Tercel 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 97,000 miles

My car is always speeding up or slowing down when the cruise control is on. The car never reaches a steady state. The speed up is fast fast until the pre-set limit is reached, then speed drops about 10 mph and the cycle starts again.

Can't find a shop mamual for this year model. Do you know it problem is adjustment or parts replacement?

Sorry to inform you that there are no adjustments possible. The Cruise control ECU is faulty.
