Electrical problem

Hello! I have a 97 Pontiac Grand Am. I turned my car on today and was heading away from my house when all of my dashboard gauges started going haywire. At a dead stop, my speedometer is going from 0mph to 35 then back down to like 10 then back up to 110. And so forth. My gas gauge says i'm either full or empty. My temp gauge says I am either not running or i am over heating... and my RPM says nothing to 8 then after just a couple flicks it sits on the "knob" under redlined 8RPMs. Everything else flickers within just a couple seconds and continues to do so weather the car is just on or if it is started...
