Engine Cooling problem
1997 Oldsmobile Bravada 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic
i just need to see where the thermostat is located. where i have looked has 2 possible thermostat areas. i just need to see if i am taking the right item off before i mess anything up. thanks

Hi:
To find the thermostat, follow the upper radiator hose back to the engine. Where the hose ends and is attached to is the thermostat housing. Tyou will need to drain some of the coolant, and remove the upper hose from the housing. Next there should be 2 or 3 bolts holding the housing on to the engine. Remove it and the tstat is under it.
