Brakes problem
1997 Oldsmobile Bravada 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 273000 miles

I have a 1997 bravada oldsmobile and i have took it to a machanic and was told that it was the ebc (i belive it was called) Modular and the brakes he told me you could fix the brakes but it might not matter because the modular is what controls the car and he said it has dust in it?? i wanted to know what is the modular and or what does it do and is what he told me true is it not worth fixing or what??
