Engine Performance problem 1997 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles ---------------------------------------------------------------- i have a 1997 nissan altima gxe with 130,000 miles.the engine sputters and dies at times. it does it most when it is warmed up. i have replace the spark plugs (which we're black). i have replaced the air filter and fuel filter. i do not have a check engine light. the problem is intermitin.
