Transmission problem 1997 Mitsubishi Galant 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 97,000 miles I noticed a little slipping between 1st and 2nd gears when you first start to drive and sometimes there is a hard shift between these 2 gears but the problem disappears after the engine warms up. I had the fluid flushed and the filters replaced and the problem still exists. Some days are worse than others. There are no leaks.
