Noises problem

I have a rattle in the motor. I believe it is coming from the cam. when you press on the gas it rattles really bad. something sounds like its about to jump out of the engine. what could be the problem and how can it be fixed?

have your heat shields checked that is on your exhust. If it is really bad any shop should tell what is wrong with before you let them work on it and most of them will not charge you just to look at it.
