Transmission problem
1997 Mazda 626 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 150000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My car will not go into gear. When I push the Clutch in it push in fine, but when I try to put it into to gear i met resistence. A few times I could make it through the resistence and after that it shifted fine the rest of the day.
Well I woke up this morning to try to make it to work it and it wouldent go into to gear.
Do you think if I put fluid into my clutch master cylinder it may temporarily solve the problem? Or do I need to replace the clutch?
check the clutch operation and make sure the fluid is full, if very low, you will have to check for a leak at the master and slave Cly. Also have the transmission oil checked for correct level as well.
