Other Category problem 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII V8 Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 91000 miles ---------------------------------------------------------------- My check engine light came on on my way home from work. It was running great except it felt like the engine wasn't getting enough air to it. So when i got home, i put the hood up and listened under the hood for anything, and the thing is, i heard a slight popping coming from the air filter area. What could it be?
