Electrical problem
1997 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles

It all started when the battery cables where connected backwards. After they were connected backwards it burned the 100amp fuse at the fuse box on the engine compartment. When i replaced the fuse with battery not connected it's ok because there is no power, but once i connect the battery possitive it burnes the fuse. I checked the cable going to that fuse under the fuse box and the cable comes from the alternator It's two white cables with blue marks. This cable has a connector beside the fuse box so I disconnected this connector That comes from the alternator to the 100 amp fuse and when connecting the battery it doesn't burn the fuse but also there is no power through out the whole truck. if i connect this connector(alternator) it burnes the fuse again. Could it be the alternator OR the computer.
