Engine Cooling problem
1997 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 103000 miles
Operates normal while driving. When the car is idle the temp. hits the red zone. Checked all hoses, filled the radiator with 50/50, and replaced the thermostat. What is next?
The symptom described points to insufficient coolant.
Bleeding is required after replacement of thermostat and coolant as air can be trapped in system. After vehicle cools down, check the coolant level in radiator, top up if necessary.
