1997 Honda Accord
----------------------------------------------------------------
my wife's 1997 Honda Accord wont start. it ran great for a few days and then yesterday it decided to stop working. When you try to crank it you can hear it trying to turn over but doesnt make it all the way. It makes a funny noise like a woman is screaming. But I recorded the sound and took it to Auto Zone thinking maybe they can give me a good answer and they told me it sounded like the battery and for me to try to jump start that battery. So I went home and tried that but still nothing.. What else can it be? the starter?
If it can't crank, it is either the battery, cable connections or starter and we can rule out ignition switch as power to the starter solenoid is available.
If your jumper cables are not of the required capacity, it would not work.
