Electrical problem
1997 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 150440 miles

I bought this car about 4 months and has been running pretty well except for some times when the same problem occur occationally. Now it just dosen't start at all. The problem here is that THE LIGHTS OR INSTRUMENTAL SIGNS THAT APPEARS IN RED ON THE DASHBOARD DOES NOT LITE UP and whenever it does that, the car will not start. I sometimes jog the key in the ignition and if I am lucky to get the dashboard to light up, the car starts at ease and some time I am afraid to go places and shut the engine off because I am not sure if I will be lucky to have it started. I have having the feeling that this will be from the ignition switch or some ground pole. Can anyone please try to help tis out?
