I've had a local machanic help me find the problem, broken blend door. He says that i need to remaove the dash to get to it. Do you have any diagrams that would help? I will donate ten dollars at this time and will be glad to donate more if you can help me. Thank you

Ok first off there is no need to remove the entire dash unit. The blend door and blend door actuator is located behind the glove box. So you need to remove the glove box door and the glove box to gain access to the blend door. Then you remove the blend door actuator and the blend door is under that. Here is a pic of what you are looking for.

last message was helpful, but now I've found that I need to remove the blend door, it's broken. What is the best way to do that?

Yes that is true, I can see where the actuator enters the blend door. My question is how do I get to the blend door, has the only thing you can see out side of the heater box is where the actuator attaches to the door. Will I have to remove the entire heater?

From what it say's you should only have to remove the blend door actuator and then the actuator mounting plate and the blend door is under that and remove the door and install new one. It don't say anything about removing the entire heater. See pic below.
