Shakes or Wobbles problem
1997 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 114000 miles

I think it may be the ball joints, but I am not sure how to check to see if that is the problem. When you drive it down the road, it feels like the front right wheel is wobbling, and sometimes strays while driving straight. What do you think, and how can I check to make sure?

Check the tires 1st
place a jack under the lower control arm and jack it enough so you can insert a bar under the tire.
hold the bar at the end slide under the tire and pull up as you have one hand at the top of the tire
if any movement felt ball joint no good
