Brakes problem
1997 Ford Escort Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I had to change the valve on the drivers side rear brakes, that was fine, but when I came to putting the brake hose back into the valve, I found that when I go to tighten it, the hose twists and will not tighten fully. How do I get the hose back on with out it twisting and coming loose??
