Engine Cooling problem
1997 Ford E-Series Van V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 111960 miles
i replaced the termoastat flushed the coolant upper radiator hose gets hot lower hose is cold heater core getting hot coolant but still no hot air through the vents

Hi:
Does the engine run at a normal operating temp? Also, it's unusual that the lower rad hose stays cool. It should be hotter than the top. Coolant works it's way up through the radiator to cool. If it dropped down, it wouldn't have time to cool before going back into the engine.
Are both heater core lines getting hot and does the engine run at a normal operating temp (around 200 degrees)?
