Noises problem
1997 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 255555 miles

My status has started making a strange knocking kind of noise from what sounds like its coming from the front end somewhere, it only makes the noise when I am driving and take my foot off of the gas, as soon as I accellerate it stops. It doesn't do it everytime, sometimes louder than others. Any Ideas as to where to start looking would be much appreciated. Thanks, Sue.

I would check axles and mounts (engine and tranny )
