1997 Chrysler Van 6 cyl 116000 miles

The car alarm is set but, not sure how it happened. The horn dosen't go off when doors are unlock and when the car's engine is turned on the alarm system shuts the engine off. I've tryed messing with the eletric lock switch(I was told to press up twice and down once to reset the alarm). Also tryed to lock the door and open it from the back,driver side and the passenger side but, nothing has changed. The only key is the spair key with out the chip.
