Lets try below and see what happens if its fuel or spark

Get a carb cleaner and spray into the carb or the throttle body on an EFI. Did it start and die? If not disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil,distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors-

There is no spark. That was the reason I was told to change the distributor. Will the cam or crank sensor make the car not start? I put in the throtle position sensor, the distributor cap and rotor and no spark, then I put the distributor and thats when it started for 45 seconds and stoped and no spark again. What next? thanks for your help

Its strange because I sprayed starting fluid and it starts. I checked the fuel pump and it works perfect. Could it be the voltage to the injectors? if so How would I check the voltage to the injectors?
Thanks for your help.

One of the wire on the injectors should have battery voltage the other is the driver ground circuit-check it out or use a noid light and crank engine over is the light flashing?

Check the injectors resistance with an ohmmeter if its within specs-could be an injector shorted out and dragging the rest down-
