How do I find the problem with a non working fuel gauge if pump pressure is correct and the sender unit is working? I have changed the fuel gauge but still have the save problem. I also have cut off old fuel sending connector and replaced with new fuel pump and sending unit. At first, the fuel gauge would slowly flucuate from full to empty or vise versa or when I turn the key on, the needle in the gauge would immediately jump to full then back to empty.
