1997 Chevy Cheyenne 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 196000 miles

We have a problem with our truck that started out minor and got worse. We bought our Cheyenne and the guy who sold it to us told us that sometimes in the morning when it is cold, you have to pump the gas to get her to start. We took her home and in the beginning, it was that simple. However, then it became harder and harder to get her to start up, regardless of temperature. We replaced the fuel pump and the battery and it still got worse and worse. We had to jump start her every time. Now, we are not even able to jump start her. One friend of ours told us that it was a problem with the fuse connected to the battery and stereo system and we switched it out which led it to start that day. We replaced the stereo wires to see if that was the problem but it still won't start up. We're not sure if this is an electrical problem. Do you have any ideas about what could have happened here? Thanks.
