Engine Mechanical problem

I was driving on the freeway, and the car started to loose compersion. And slowly loose power until it came to a stop and has not started again. But if you turn the ignition it will atempt to start will will not stay on. Any sugestions ?

how do you know it loss compression? I would check and see if you have fuel pressure, spark, and injector pulse. did it set a check engine light when it happend? if it did, you will need to see what code came up.
