1997 Buick Riviera Engine service light on

1997 Buick Riviera Automatic

My car has had the service engine light on for a while now. I took it in to have the emission done on it and it wont pass, they told me it needed a new oxygen sensor so I got it changed the light turned off for a while but it is back on again what can I do to turn it off. They tell me this is the only thing that is coming up in the computer as a problem.
Please help

there has to be a code in the PCM. can you have it scanned to see what it is. Maybe i can help you
