Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 207000 miles

I can barely get my 1997 Buick Park avenue to start. When it does run, the engine smokes from the front and smoke comes out of the tailpipe. This car has 207,000 miles, and I fear that it would be more than the car is worth to get this problem fixed. Any ideas on what it could be, and do you have any suggestion as to how to possibly sell it/junk it.

before selling or junking,cut the cat.converter off,it could be stopped up.let me know what happens! dunc
