1997 BMW 528 Door Lock

Interior problem
1997 BMW 528 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 129000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My passenger front door will not open from the inside or the outside. The electrical lock moves the lock lever up and down ok.
What should I consider doing to get this door open?
