I went to work today...car was driving fine...has not given me any problems in the past. When i got off work the car would not start. However the lights and radio would come on...so i know it wasn't the battery. When i try to turn the car over nothing happens.

try starting it in neutral. if that does not work have someone tap the starter while you are cranking it.(possible bad starter motor)
