1997 Acura CL When i am stopped my brake pedal goes down

Brakes problem
1997 Acura CL 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 173000 miles

when im stopped at a light the pedal sometime, not all the time, the brake pedal will start to go down like it is losing brake power. all i ahve to do is pump the bgrake to fix this. what can be wrong

Hi there,

you may have a by-passing brake master cylinder, this is when under light pressure fluid by passes the seals internal of the master cyl and the pedal will drop, with out any sign of leaking fluid.
