Transmission problem

daughter's car...check engine light and D4 lit up while driving....took it in right away...was told it was transmission pickup sensor...made appt for several days later...no driving problems were noted...while driving it the next day she said that at stoplights it felt like someone was nudging the back of the car and when she tried to go at highway speed it took time and more foot on the gas to get it up to speed...oh, and cel and D4 lights have turned back on...could pickup sensor be the culprit or is worst case scenario a new or rebuilt transmsssion?

Hi there,

If the sensor was causing the fault indication, get that done before you start to get to concerned, electronic transmissions can feel quite strange when they have an issue with a sensor, i would get that sorted first.
