Engine Performance problem
1996 Plymouth Voyager 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

at idle its wanting to buck and wants to stall [almost 400rpm drop put foot on pedal it willact like no fuel and lots of air then will pop pop pop then kick in and do this at a faster pace then when up to speed and you let up on the pedal it will lurch and smooth out if you accelerate after this theres rapid pinging then seems to go smoother at higher speeds cause your lighter on the pedal with slowing comes that cycle again ithought it might be water in the tak so i used drying agent at low fuel capacity and nothing changed thanks frank

Hi Frank,

Sorry for the delay in replying. Seems the question got missed out.

To understand the situation better I hope you can fill me in on the following.

Does the Check Engine Light indicates when vehicle is running?
Have you check the spark plugs and re;ated parts?
What have you done so far to try to rectify this problem?
When did this problem started?
Was any repairs carried prior to it happening?
