1996 Other Mitsubishi Models steering wheel vibration

Shakes or Wobbles problem
1996 Other Mitsubishi Models 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 135000 miles

I have a vibration in the steering that gets worse with speed. Under acceleration it is not bad, but once I reach highway speeds and let off the accelerator it gets significantly worse. I have had the wheels balanced and the problem still exists. Any suggestions on what to check next?

Hi mdominick,

Check the steering linkages, driveshafts and ball joints if it is not the wheels.
