Engine Performance problem
1996 Other Chrysler Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 160000 miles
About a month ago, I lost the only key to my van, and had a locksmith come make a new key. It doesn't work my doors like the original key did. I drove my van 1 time with the new key, and when I parked it, it hasn't started since. My husband is a mechanic, unfortunately, Dodge isn't his specialty. We have replaced the coil, battery, and crank sensor. None of these are the problem. My husband thinks it has something to do with the security system, and the van didn't have an owners manual when we bought it. It stalled on me while I was driving it, like 3x, it did that, but it always started back up, until I parked it. Now it just turns over, like its getting no fire. We are totally clueless and stressed out. HELP PLEASE!! |
