1996 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl 74000 miles

I have a 1996 Nissan sentra and need to get my two front brakes replace. please let me know whats the charge for replacement.

Price varies by localities. You should check your local shops. It is 1 hour labor.

Or pay $50 for the pads and you can do it yourself. Make sure you get some brake caliper lube.

Raise the vehicle, remove tire. Do one side at a time
Remove 2 caliper bolts (14mm socket)
Remove old brake pads
Install new pads. Make sure you lube all metal to metal contacts
Install anti-rattle springs. Look for the holes on the pad. That is where the spring goes.
Use C-clamp to push piston back into caliper
Install caliper
Wipe clean caliper bolt. Lubricate caliper bolt.
Install the bolt.

Now do the other side.
