Engine Cooling problem
1996 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 170000 miles

Can you tell me where this resistor is located and its function. We have a chilton book that shows there is one but cannot find it. The book also doesnt tell much about it. My problem is the fans wont work. Any solutions?
