1996 Lincoln Town Car Cruise Control Won't Work

Electrical problem
1996 Lincoln Town Car V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 156000 miles

The cruise control is not working on my 1996 Lincoln Town Car. The 15amp Fuse is ok but when I press the ON button, there is no cruise light displayed on the drivers control panel. The cruise control will not function. Thank you for any information on this issue.

Did you have the car repaired by the dealer for the recall of a possible fire hazard due to faulty cruise wiring harnes? If so Ford is telling me that in the cruise contol module there could be water or it may be cracked. Check it out.
