If the door latch will not open the door, but you can still use the keyless entry (key pad) to open the doors, then your problem is a broken plastic latch, that connects to the locking mechanism to the rod that is actuated by the door handle. It is buried down by the door lock mechanism. A Chilton, or a Hayes manual will have a diagram, the part can be purchased at any Ford dealership. it is about $6 USD.. FYI, the P/N in the manual is incorrect. I will check on it.. --- Alfredo
