Electrical problem

We believe it's an electrical problem..
None of my gauges will work.
When starting it, my check engine light does not come on and when quickly turning off the ignition, my other dash lights stay on longer than they did before.
All of my lights, radio, locks and such work fine. And it will not jump start, so we've ruled out the battery.
The engine when you turn the ignition will crank, but will not turn over.
We have checked the distributor, starter and my igntion switch.
What else may it be? It's killing me to be without my car
