1996 Jaguar XJS loss of transmission fluid

Transmission problem
1996 Jaguar XJS 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 102000 miles

The car was running fine then suddenly dumped out most of the transmission fluid, mostly onto the right hand exhaust pipe, over about 25 miles. When stopped the car does not drip fluid. The only change I made was switching from S to N transmission mode. (May not be relevant.) What is the problem?

Hi there,

I think you may have split a oil cooler pipe, you best get this checked before you drive it again.
