Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Infiniti Q45 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 146000 miles

Recently , my transmission was repaired and went i went to pickup my car my oil lite was on, they said they did not cause that problem. I drive the car to another to another gargage 25 miles away. to prevent damage to the engine. they supect the oil pressure is bad, When can i do to repair my car myself. how you approach this problem. I dont have any more money after having my transmission repaired. help i need some directions please.

Has the oil pressure been verefied with a mechanical guage? Shop may have accidentaly pulled wire off oil sender.
