1996 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 50,000 miles

i replaced the engine in my 96 accord Ex and since i have started the car it will jump RPM at idle from 0 to 1100 RPM. sometime i can put the car in nuteral and it will idle right and run smooth until you kill it. then it's starts all over again. diagnostics test which shows crank shaft sensor A replaced ang it didn't make a differents. the car surges when accerlating

Crankshaft sensor is inside distributor, did you replace the distributor assy?

Did you check the valve timing? ie, timing belt correct installation.

I would suggest cleaning the throttle body, IAC valve and idle adjust screw.

Check the ignition timing as well.
