Air Conditioning problem
1996 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 148700 miles

I just put in a new compressor on my Accord year and half ago. I did not feel the AC anymore. I took it to the same shop that replaced the compressor. I was told that I need a new compressor. I asked him why. The manager responded that compressors go bad almost every year in Florida due to the heat. They gave me a 12 month warranty that has already expired. My question is this true or I am getting cheated.
