Engine Performance problem
1996 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 142500 miles

Hi my name is Chris Moe and have a serious problem with my Taurus. I can get it to start but as soon as it runs for about 2 - 5 seconds it shuts itself off. There is plenty of gas in the vehicle and the fuel pump seems to be acting normaly. I need help!

Have you changed fuel filter under car?if not with this many miles that is where you should start.
