have bout 70000 miles on rebuilt tranny by aamco slips in reverse but will move one day it went bang and started backing up under good power but was shaking 2 days later it was back doing the same slipping thing its like its not fully engaging used some lucas trans additive didnt change a thing no problem with forward gears just reverse thanks

You better get a trans shop to inspect this for you, the bang does not sound good, and you may have a faulty servo or a damaged reverse band.
