Engine Performance problem
1996 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 62000 miles

1) my car is in good shape and drives smoothly. what is the fuel consumption for it if it has 62000 miles? ( city/highway)

2) i've replacesd my oxigen sensor since it broke down. my car started to "drink" more fuel than it used to when the sensor was dead- can there be a connection between the new sensor and the increased consumption?

3) in general- will it help to put something in the engine in order to improve the fuel consumption?
