1996 Dodge Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 212000 miles

when I use my power window button on the driver side the passenger sides does nothing but it blows the 40amp fuse out under the hood but I have taken out the relay for the power windowit was getting hot then blew that fuse what to do thank you

Hi:

I would remove the driver's side switch ( the one that works both windows) and have it checked. I believe it may have gone bad and shorted internally.
